The drug test is another Trump distraction: #tellusatoday

Another diversion tactic in a race he can’t win.

Donald Trump accused Hillary Clinton of being on some kind of drug during the last debate and suggested that both candidates be tested for substances ahead of the third debate. Facebook comments are edited for clarity and grammar:

Trump started running an ad days ago that shows a very feeble Clinton in poor health. Now, when she shows up face-to-face and beats him, he says he thinks she is on some performance-enhancing drug.

Maybe the woman who keeps winning each debate is a clone of Clinton.

Maybe Trump is just trying to change the subject away from his sexual predatory behavior. Or maybe The Donald is really crazy.

Take a good look at Clinton. She appears to be zoned out on drugs. She even has to be prompted when to smile during a debate. During the FBI investigation, she forgot what she did as secretary of State, answering more than 30 times with “I don’t recall.” You want her in office?

We asked our followers their thoughts on Donald Trump’s call for a drug test of the candidates ahead of Wednesday’s debate. Tweets are edited for clarity and grammar:

Ludicrous. Trump’s deflecting speculation about his own probable drug use (constant sniffing, tweet rants at 3 a.m.) by deflecting onto Clinton.

@Kym_Charlotte

I’d like to see Trump take a civics test, and Clinton take a lie detector test.

@BittmanSkip

Trump continues a pattern of using diversion tactics in a race he can’t win.

Complete physical and mental evaluations, including drug testing, should be done on all candidates running for president.
