Trump isn’t the candidate chosen by God, by far: #tellusatoday
Religion should never be used as a justification for a vote or public policy.
Letter to the editor:
In the Paste BN column “I’m a Bible-thumping etiquette teacher for Trump,” Diann Catlin pretty much limits her criticism of Donald Trump to incivility. But what about the mountain of negative facts that she doesn’t mention? Overt racism, xenophobia and misogyny. His shady “foundation.” Trump “University.” The women. The lies. The taxes, or lack thereof. His un-American insistence that the election is “rigged” with absolutely no solid proof. The alleged Russian ties. If you want to wade into un-Christian waters, what about his disdain for the poor immigrant, his stirring up of pure hatred and even his lack of charitable giving?
But forget about all of that. What I am most interested in is this. Catlin said, “One thing I know is that Barack Obama is as far from aligning with Christian values as any president we have ever had.” Really? She knows this? Any president, ever?
I know that President Obama supports a woman’s right to choose and some see that as un-Christian. But what else? What has he done that is so awful? I would like to know.
Catlin made a very strong statement about the president of the United States without facts to support it, and she only resorted to ridiculous, unproven, right-wing conspiracy theories.

The fact that Diann Catlin can write that President Obama is far from Christian values, in “I'm a Bible-thumping etiquette teacher for Trump,” while still supporting Donald Trump shows her bias. President Obama is a good father who has been faithful to his family. He has practiced his faith without throwing it in everyone’s faces, while Trump has left two wives, has five kids by three women, and disparaged minorities and women. Call yourself anything but a Christian because your values are not those of Jesus.

Religion should never be used as a justification for a vote or public policy. Also, if your God is so willing to be involved in human political affairs, he’s every bit as vain and petty as we suspect him to be.

Truth! Donald Trump states the truth and Clinton calls him a liar. Then, it’s proved that Trump, once again, told the truth and Clinton lied.

Clinton has a strong track record of working across party lines.

Trump’s genuine love for this country as he strategizes to create a positive change for America. The status quo is destructive.
