President-elect Donald Trump has announced some bizarre Cabinet picks and considerations since his election victory: Ben Carson to head Housing and Urban Development? Sen. Jeff Sessions, who was rejected for a judgeship in the 1980s because of racist ideology, for attorney general?
But the consideration of Sarah Palin to head the Department of Veterans Affairs has to be the most baffling, SMH decision yet. The VA is struggling to get back on track after reports of long wait times for veterans, falsified documents, lack of adequate resources for PTSD sufferers. What does Palin bring to the table? It's hard to tell, but late-night comic Jimmy Fallon tells us what she doesn't bring by way of Sen. John McCain, in today's Punchlines, above.
