Checks and balances won’t stop our president: #tellusatoday

Letter to the editor:

The 3-0 unanimous decision by the three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, in San Francisco, validates the ruling issued by Seattle federal Judge James Robart.

It is heartening to see the checks and balances instilled in the three branches of our government. The judiciary has discharged its paramount responsibility of interpreting the constitutional applicability in defining and limiting the executive powers.

It’s no secret that the Trump administration may file an appeal with the nation’s highest court. However, considering the overwhelmingly biased applicability of the executive order, the final verdict of the Supreme Court may well uphold the decision by the lower court due to the apparent unconstitutionality of the order.
