Punchlines: Another Trump history gaffe? Really?
Our top picks for the best of late night.

First we're expected to believe that former slave turned abolitionist Frederick Douglass is still alive. Now we learn that Andrew Jackson, who was president from 1829 to 1837, was angry over a Civil War that he knew nothing about because, well, he wasn't alive when it happened.
If only there was a way for President Trump to filter these off-the-cuff remarks before he lets them fly. Late-night comic Jimmy Fallon implies that the president should look to education Secretary Betsy DeVos for guidance on all things history. But then again, she might do more harm than good. Take a look at Fallon's commentary on her remarks in Punchlines, above.
And Conan O'Brien tells us how Sen. John McCain, who it turns out did have a role in the Civil War, responded.
