It's not enough that the president wants to build a wall between the US and Mexico. Now he's encouraging Spain to build a wall as well ... across the Sahara Desert. According to Josep Borrell, Spain's foreign minister, President Donald Trump passed that advice along as a way for the country to keep migrants out.

There are so many things wrong with that tip, it's hard to know where to begin. Late-night comic Trevor Noah began with a pick-up line that shows just how often Trump relies on the wall as his foreign policy answer of choice. Take a look at today's Best of Late Night, above, to find out just how that line plays out.

What other embarrassing things happened to Trump this week? The late-night comics take a look at his campaign trip to Las Vegas and a post-Hurricane Florence visit to North Carolina.
