Colbert on Trump: 'Trust revoked'
The comics talk about the latest hearings and investigations involving Trump in Best of Late Night.
Does the House Judiciary Committee's investigation into President Donald Trump's campaign, his administration and his businesses have the leader shaking in his boots?
If not, it probably should.
The investigation, which includes requests for information from 81 individuals and groups, is thought to be the Democrats' first step toward a case for impeachment. One of the organizations that has been tapped to fork over documents is the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust.
According to late-night comic Stephen Colbert, the organization has done it's job: "trust revoked."
Last week's hearings with former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen also revealed a few other folks of interest to the Judiciary Committee. Take a look at today's Best of Late Night, above, to hear the comics' take on one name in particular.
