Watch out America, there's a new holiday coming your way ... sort of.

The president, on the last day of this year's Conservative Political Action Conference, rebranded the holiday formerly known as Independence Day. Or perhaps he was trying to? During an uncharacteristically long speech (even for him), Trump encouraged the crowd to remember July 4 (because people don't already do that?), and announced that he'll be doing something special on that day in Washington, D.C. (because the fireworks and parades aren't enough?).

Stephen Colbert noted that "nothing distracts like a distraction" and that the president's two-hour long political ramblings were the perfect attempt at taking people's minds off of testimony and sentencing still haunting Trump's inner circle.

Late-night comic Bill Maher had a slightly different perspective. Take a look at Best of Late Night, above, to see the connection he made between Trump's speech and R. Kelly.
