Late-night comic Trevor Noah kicked off the top story of last night's "Daily Show" by asking if "it's finally happening," Stephen Colbert ticked off a list of things that weren't really the thing until maybe this thing, and Conan O'Brien showed how one broadcaster reacted to the news (hint: it involved confetti).

But perhaps the most mysterious part of the entire scandal that led House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to announce a formal impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump on Tuesday, is the identity of the whistleblower. Who initially dropped the bomb that Trump pressured Ukraine to get dirt on 2020 rival and former Vice President Joe Biden? Colbert reveals one possible source in today's Best of Late Night. Take a look, above, to see the familiar face.

And what is Trump's reaction to possible impeachment? Jimmy Fallon channels the president during what may have been Trump's last speech.
