Heading into the November election, it became clear that immigration was one of the significant topics for voters.
President Donald Trump has made good on his promise to voters that he would tackle immigration, which has become a major policy focus for Trump and Republicans nationwide.
Trump has gone after birthright citizenship and kickstarted a chain of events that could ultimately include his invoking a wartime law to speed up deportations.
This doesn't include states like Texas that are doing their best to help Trump, and states like California that are actively working to stop him.
I do not doubt that many of you are seeing these things in action nationwide or have watched news coverage of the debate.
