Do you think Elon Musk has too much power in our government? Tell us. | Opinion
What are your thoughts on what Elon Musk has been doing to our American government? Take our poll below.

To say it's been a whirlwind of a month in American politics is understating things.
President Donald Trump has been on a nonstop campaign of purging the federal government of what he and his supporters think is waste.
That alone would take up most of your news feeds as Trump's first month back in the White House continues to unfold. But there is an added point of interest in the form of Elon Musk and what the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is up to.
So now, we want to ask you about Musk. Specifically, do you agree with what Musk is doing on behalf of Trump? Let us know in the poll below.
In case you're one of the lucky ones who have avoided things, here's a quick update:
- Musk has been granted permission to review Department of Education records.
- He wants access to sensitive and restricted IRS data.
- Musk has played a key role in the termination of thousands of federal workers.
That's a drop in the bucket of the impact Musk is having on the government. His movements have gotten as much, if not more, news coverage as Trump or any other federal department. Let us know how you feel about Musk and his involvement. Consider these questions as you respond:
- Trump supporters, are you OK with how much power Musk has?
- Are you worried about what Musk and Trump are doing?
- Do you agree that federal waste needs to be trimmed?
