This one goes out to the Democrats and liberals in the group. We see you in the back with your hand raised as President Donald Trump runs wild with his agenda and Republicans sit up front, letting it happen.

And now, we gather to ask you, the libs, what is next for your party? What do you want to see happen in the short term, and what do you hope will happen in the long term?

Because I hate to be the one to tell you all this, but you've lost two of the last three presidential elections to the guy everybody knows is a bit unhinged.

Joe Biden gave you a win in 2020 that seemed to offer some hope for success, before giving the White House right back to Trump.

What's next for Democrats?

Where do Democrats go from here, and who do you think is the party's leader right now? There is so much for you all to unpack, fill out the form below and tell us, or send an email to forum@usatoday.com with the subject line "Forum Democrats."

Republicans, we fully expect you all to take part, no worries. You won, so you get to point and laugh if you must. We'll publish responses from all sides of the political spectrum.

Here are some questions to consider to help you get started:

  • What do Democrats need to do right now to start turning the ship around?
  • Why do you think Democrats lost in November?
  • Who should be the face of the Democratic Party in 2028?
  • Should the party scoot more to the center or go all in with a more progressive agenda?
