A horse trapped in a freezing swamp in Yunnan, China, is rescued by villagers and an excavator in a tense, hours-long operation.
A horse trapped in freezing mud sparked a dramatic rescue in Yunnan, China.
Sinking deeper and deeper into the thick swamp, the exhausted animal was fighting for survival. Villagers rushed to help, but despite their efforts, the horse was too weak to break free.
In a last ditch effort, the determined rescuers brought in an excavator and devised a plan that would save the animal’s life.
