Cool video: 'My Girlfriend Candice'

Casey and Van Neistat, aka "The Neistat Brothers," have been making fun and inspired videos for years. (You may recall their short-lived HBO series, of which I was a big fan.)

Last week, Casey uploaded a 20-minute film called My Girlfriend Candice. It details the six-year, off-and-on relationship between Casey and Candice, who made the mistake of getting married a month after they met.

The video chronicles a road trip the two of them took to see the space shuttle blast off — a premise that's great enough by itself. But the most compelling thing about My Girlfriend Candice is Casey's filmmaking style, which incorporates drawings, stop-motion animation, collage and other homemade elements. (One of my favorite scenes involves a creative use of iPhones.)
