Free food alert: Grab some IHOP pancakes

You may want to get up a little early tomorrow to take part in a beloved IHOP tradition: National Pancake Day.

Every year the breakfast chain gives a free short stack of flapjacks to its customers. In return, IHOP asks that diners make a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals or other specified local charities.

This year IHOP hopes to raise $3 million. (That's a lot of syrup!) The 'cakes are limited to one short stack per customer, but if memory serves, that should be more than enough to fill you up.
