Cool stuff on DVD today: 'Ralph' and more
What's shakin' on DVD this week? Our selections offer lots of variety:
Release o' the week: Wreck-It Ralph. Many thought this film should've won the Oscar instead of Brave; it did win the best animated feature award from the National Board of Review, several Annies and other honors. And who can deny a cast that includes John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch and many other funny folks?
- The Intouchables. This audience and critical favorite follows the adventures of an upper-class Frenchman and his caretaker, who comes from the projects.
- Red Dawn. Yeah, some movies — OK, make that most movies — should never be remade.
- Schindler's List. Grab the 20th anniversary edition of the landmark film.
- Sigur Ros: Valtari Film Experiment. A dozen filmmakers make memorable music videos for the band.
