Who will dominate the Tournament of Books?
Throughout March, those of us who don't care for basketball can still get into the spirit of the season with a variety of pop-culture brackets.
Yesterday I wrote about the big Star Wars character bracket from Lucasfilm. (Go, Solo!) Today, you should head over to The Morning News for its annual Tournament of Books.
In this bracket, a bunch of books from 2012 are pitted against each other. Winners in each matchup are decided by writers/critics including Lev Grossman, Charles Yu and our longtime pal Davy Rothbart.
So far winners include several books I enjoyed (The Fault in Our Stars, Gone Girl, Building Stories), although the excellent Where'd You Go, Bernadette? lost to The Orphan Master's Son. Harrumph.
A winner will be crowned March 29. I'd say Gillian Flynn will be tough to beat.
