Cool stuff on DVD today: 'Hyde Park on Hudson' and more
I still have a ton of TV to catch up with — no Bates Motel spoilers, please! — but if you're looking for a flick this week, here are the best options:
Release o' the week: Hyde Park on Hudson. Despite its mixed reviews, I'm still planning to see this one, which stars Bill Murray as FDR.
- Sexy Evil Genius. Seth Green and Katee Sackhoff headline this indie.
- Stevie Nicks: Through the Looking Glass. Another Stevie documentary? Sure, why not?
- Naked Lunch. Criterion issues the 1991 David Cronenberg flick.
- Richard III. Criterion also releases a special edition of the 1955 film, which starred, was produced and directed by Laurence Olivier.
Also out: Boss: Season Two, Family Ties: The Sixth Season, Merlin: The Complete Fifth Season, Womb
Blu-ray highlight: The first season of The Dick Van Dyke Show arrives in the format.
Related news: Netflix's House of Cards arrives on DVD June 11.
Next week: Django Unchained arrives.
