Best day ever: Chewbacca visits my office!

Holy moly, I just hugged Chewbacca.

As far as mornings go, this is one of the best in recent memory. Just minutes ago, everyone's favorite Wookiee visited me at work — and prompted several gleeful and perplexed looks from my co-workers.

Chewy is helping Lucasfilm promote "Star Wars Day" on Saturday. The fan-created event gives us one (more) day a year to throw Star Wars parties, have lightsaber fights and, of course, say "May the Fourth be with you" to everyone we see.

Upon Chewbacca's arrival, I showed him my cubicle:

Since it's hard work being a Wookiee, I let him stretch and take a breather, but then it was back to work:
