Cool stuff on DVD today: 'Side Effects' and more

Bummed that all of your favorite shows have wrapped 'til fall? Peruse today's list of new offerings:

Release o' the week: Side Effects . As I've mentioned, I really enjoyed this Steven Soderbergh drama. The stellar cast includes Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Channing Tatum.

- True Blood: The Complete Fifth Season. Just when you thought the action in Bon Temps couldn't get any crazier, well, it did. (I could've done without Terry's storyline, though.)

- American Masters: Mel Brooks — Make a Noise. If you loved the documentary that aired last night — and is now online — then why don't you own it?

- The Rolling Stones: Crossfire Hurricane. The documentary is well-produced and entertaining (as is the case with most things involving Mick); alas, it contains little new information.

- Struck by Lightning. Glee's Chris Colfer wrote this film that co-stars Girl of the Moment Rebel Wilson.
