Early Buzz: Whedon, Ferrell and more newsmakers
It's Friday! I'm pretty jazzed about the weekend because my brother is coming to visit. If anyone knows of a good guitar shop in New York, please let me know — that's near the top of his wish list.
This week I've previewed a bunch of new and returning TV series, but I haven't said much because several have disappointed me. One I really enjoyed, though, was Us & Them, Fox's remake of the hit British comedy Gavin and Stacey. I was a big G&S fan and had my doubts about a reboot, but it's pretty charming! Alexis Bledel and Jason Ritter star, and the supporting cast includes The State alums Michael Ian Black and Kerri Kenney. Here's a trailer.
