Video: Burt Reynolds hangs with Cap'n Crunch
Virtually everyone has a talk show these days — including Cap'n Crunch.
This year the cereal is celebrating the icon's 50th anniversary, and a few weeks ago it launched a late-night talk show, The Cap'n Crunch Show. Highlights of the mascot's YouTube channel include a recent press conference where he swore he's a real captain.
New episodes debut late at night, but I have an exclusive look at tonight's ep, in which Burt Reynolds, of all people, stops by for an interview.
See the first installment of the two-part episode below. As you can imagine, it's pretty weird and shows the animated duo sitting in a giant bowl of cereal. (Later, Reynolds dons a karate outfit.)
Said Reynolds in a statement: "Horatio and I go way back. We practically started the mustache boom of the late '60s. I'm proud to stand by him today."
And while the Cap'n may look a little out of touch, he's on Twitter. Episodes of The Cap'n Crunch Show appear every other Tuesday at www.youtube.com/realcapncrunch.
