Video: Mike Rowe's insane voiceover technique

Aside from hosting the popular Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs, Mike Rowe spends a lot of time doing commercial and voiceover work.

In clip he posted to YouTube this week, Rowe demonstrates a technique he uses while recording voiceovers that just blew my mind.

Says longtime Pop reader Eric C., who works in radio: "Mike can do something that takes years to perfect in the V.O. business."

I won't give it away, but the feat happens around the 1:55 mark:

I actually just tried to do this myself, and, of course, I sounded like an idiot.
