What inspired the KFC x Hatch sound?
It all started back in March of this year when the internet realized that the sound of cooking fried chicken actually sounded surprisingly similar to the sound of rain falling. As any smart brand would, Hatch and KFC teamed up to capitalize on the viral moment and give the people what they want: "Kentucky Fried Chicken Rain Sounds" content channel. The custom sound was primarily influenced by the new KFC Original Recipe® Tenders being cooked, a new menu item that was added to KFC stores nationwide on October 14.
