"My Best Buy" is a free membership plan "built for customers who want convenience," according to the Richfield, Minnesota-headquartered retailer's website.
The three primary benefits of signing up for a My Best Buy membership include:
- Free shipping with no minimum purchase
- Access to purchase history, online order tracking and up-to-date shipping info
- Quick checkout and members can save items to keep an ongoing wish list
There are two other My Best Buy tiers, My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total, that offer additional perks for customers.

My Best Buy Plus is a $49.99 per year membership that "is built for customers who want value and access," according to the retailer. Other perks of this membership tier include:

- Free two-day shipping with no minimum purchase
- Extended 60-day return and exchange window on most products
What is My Best Buy Total?
My Best Buy Total is a $179.99 per year membership that is "built for customers who want protection and support," according to the retailer. Other perks of this membership include:
- Access to Geek Squad, Best Buy's tech support service, 24/7 and 365 days a year for all tech — no matter where the product was bought
- VIP priority support at any time and access to a specially trained team for advice, customer service and coordination via phone or chat
- Up to two years of product protection, including AppleCare+, on most new Best Buy purchases
- Up to 20% off repairs
- Promotional service offers from time to time, such as discounted in-home installation and haul-aways
