Easter is around the corner, but is the (real) Easter bunny ready? I don't create baskets for holidays like St. Patrick's Day, but my husband and son are both on the receiving end of Easter baskets. There's the standard stuffers like a chocolate bunny, bright and colorful eggs filled with Reese's, jellybeans and Cadbury eggs and marshmallow Peeps. But, I always add in a "big ticket item" like a small Lego set for my son, or a new Stanley for my husband.

How to prepare the perfect Easter basket
Step One: Grab an Easter basket—the cuter, the better
Step Two: Get a filler and cover the bottom of the basket
Step Three: Add a plush bunny
🐇Pro-tip: Add a holiday-themed book for the little ones to encourage a little learning after all the candy. My son loves Pete the Cat, whose Easter book comes with a poster, cards and stickers.

Easter is Sunday, April 20, 2025. The date changes each year, and it truly does feel like it's happening later and later, because it's determined by the first full moon following the Spring equinox. The Spring equinox this year falls on April 12.
