Shedeur Sanders was FINALLY drafted by the Cleveland Browns. Get his new NFL jersey now
The Cleveland Browns selected Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders with the No. 144 selection in at the 2025 NFL draft.
The Browns are fresh off a 3-14 season in 2024 and are taking swings at the draft to try and change that. A lot of that effort has to do with the quarterback position following a tough situation with DeShaun Watson. In addition to adding Sanders, Cleveland already picked QB Dillion Gabriel in Round 3 of the trade and veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett this earlier offseason.
Sanders heads to the Browns as the most polarizing prospect this year. After revitalizing Colorado's football program with 4,314 passing yards and 37 touchdowns in 13 games played in 2024 alone, Sanders' stock was sky high. The son of NFL legend Deion Sanders then saw that stock fall at the 2025 draft and now he finally has a home in Round 5.
