5 viral TikTok products that I can't escape—but definitely want to buy 🛍️

Consider this your weekly guide to the TikTok products you need across beauty, wellness, travel and beyond.

Another week, another batch of viral TikTok products! Whether you've been itching for a cool new buy or simply want the rundown on the internet's most popular item, I'm here to guide you in the direction of your next favorite purchase. Follow along to see how I put my TikTok obsession to good use—binge-scrolling can really take you places, folks!

I'll be coming to you every Friday with a summary of the week's most viral TikTok products, including insights as to why certain items are trending, what professional shoppers (like myself) really think about them and why they may (or may not) deserve a spot in your digital shopping cart.

In this week's installment, I take a look at the new Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Patches, the veggie-inspired candle that's foreshadowing a second coming of "tomato girl summer" and the infamous Fruit Riot Sour Grapes that are currently flying off store shelves (spoiler alert: I managed to find them online).

1. Summer Fridays reimagined its famous Jet Lag Mask into an eye patch

Imagine everything you love about the infamous Summer Fridays Jet Leg Mask, bottled up and condensed into nourishing little eye patches. Believe it or not, this unicorn beauty product exists, and it's one of the latest releases from Summer Fridays. The hydrating Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Patches are designed to help remedy all signs of puffiness, tired eyes, hangovers, bad decisions and everything in between. Call it a miracle worker, if you will!

My verdict? If this viral beauty product is half as effective as its mask predecessor, then the chronic dark circles under my eyes may have finally met their match.

2. TikTok's new workout obsession? Rucking

Hot girl walks be damned—this season, rucking is TikTok's new go-to workout style, and it involves elevating your walks or hikes with accessories like weighted vests and ankle weights. Celebrities like Kaia Gerber and Olivia Rodrigo have been spotted donning this Omorpho G-Vest, which boasts a seriously flattering design—and a heavy secret. The weighted vest looks nothing like your typical workout accessory (hence its popularity) and yet, can be perfectly styled with your favorite leggings or athletic shorts.

My verdict? This trending TikTok product is stylish, weighted and provides enough support that I can forgo my usual sports bra altogether; what's not to like about this genius piece? As the kids say: Time to get my "ruck" on! (No kids say this.)

3. Goodbye Dubai chocolate bar—these sour grapes are the new "It" candy

TikTok food reviews generally gross me out, which is why I avoid them like the plague on the app. Everything from the chewing sounds to the mouth close-ups are just too much for me to stomach (literally). but the craze surrounding these Fruit Riot Frozen Sour Mixed Candy Grapes has made the video genre almost inescapable. Why, you ask? Well, the sour candy grapes—which have been aptly dubbed the "It" snack for summer 2025—have been trending nonstop this week, as consumers attempt to get their hands on the hot-ticket item.

My verdict? Long before Fruit Riot's sour grapes ascended to mainstream popularity, I dabbled in developing a homemade (and very amateur) sour grape snack that combined frozen green grapes, lemon juice and monk fruit sweetener to create a healthy alternative for my Sour Patch Kids addiction. Fast-forward to today, and a similar sour grape snack is now dominating the candy market. Am I saying that I'm indirectly responsible for the million dollar idea? No, I'm not saying that. But, if you want to say it, I won't stop you. I will say that I have a knack for knowing what's cool before it actually becomes cool, and will gladly binge-eat this viral treat while mulling over my next market-moving idea.

4. Happy "tomato girl summer" to all who celebrate

If you've ever dreamt of living inside of an herb garden (hi), this TikTok viral find can help you make your storybook dreams a reality—well, sort of. Keeping in theme with the "tomato girl summer" trend that's all over the app—wherein users embrace an Italian countryside-inspired vibe of nap dresses and freshly gardened foods—this Flamingo Estate candle has garnered a devout following online. And yes, true to its name, it smells exactly like an heirloom tomato.

My verdict? TikTok's influence is so powerful that I—a known tomato-hater—am sincerely considering buying this viral home decor for my apartment. I can hardly eat marina sauce without wincing, but perhaps this candle's inimitable aroma will make me a tomato convert after all? Stay tuned.

5. This marshmallow blanket is an Amazon best-seller

Blankets aren't exactly synonymous with summer, but this Bedsure Blanket continues to defy the odds with its current virality on TikTok. The fluffy home essential has a one-of-a-kind texture and oozes the coziest vibes.

My verdict? I love this blanket so dearly, I bought a second version of it (in a taupe colorway) not long after purchasing my first Bedsure blanket. It's quickly become my go-to gift for loved ones and boasts a marshmallow-like fluffiness that's unbeatable. The ribbed detailing makes it stand out more than a traditional blanket. And besides, who doesn't want a product that can elevate both their naps and living room at the same time? This TikTok home decor product is a total winner in my book.

How do I determine TikTok's most viral products?

There are a couple factors I take into consideration when narrowing down the best TikTok products on any given week, including: Which product categories are trending on TikTok? Is there an organic discourse surrounding individual items? Are there product reviews from shoppers that can support the hype surrounding a popular TikTok product? Understanding the functionality of an item—beyond just its virality—is critical in assessing its value, and I ensure that any products recommended here are also backed by USA Today Shopping editors and readers, and boast no lower than a 4.0 average rating.
