The battle for Lord Stanley's Cup culminates in a rematch.

For the second-consecutive year, the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers will battle for the NHL title.

The Oilers and Panthers both advanced to the finals after defeating their conference finals opponents, the Dallas Stars and Carolina Hurricanes, in five games.

Last year's Stanley Cup Finals was a classic, with the Panthers taking a 3-0 series lead before the Oilers battled back to force a Game 7, only to see Florida emerge victorious with the franchise's first championship.

Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup Finals tickets

Despite entering the playoffs as the lower seed in their first-round matchup, the Oilers had a better regular season than the Panthers and will therefore have home-ice in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Oilers will host Game 1 and Game 2 and then have the opportunity to host Game 5 and Game 7 should the series require it.

Florida Panthers Stanley Cup Finals tickets

No matter which team comes out of the West, the Panthers will start the Stanley Cup Finals on the road. That means Amerant Bank Arena will host Game 3 and Game 4 of the finals, and would host Game 6 should the series progress that far.

The league has not yet released the Stanley Cup Finals schedule. We know that Game 1 will take place on Wednesday, June 4 in Edmonton. Now that the conference finals are decided, look for the full schedule to be released soon.
