Shopping guide: Exclusive military discounts on streaming, clothing, appliances
Here's a look at all the hidden deals and how to redeem the military savings.
I have been a military spouse for nearly seven years and I'm still realizing just how many discounts are available to our family thanks to my husband's service. Brands and retailers across all categories offer military discounts to support and show appreciation to our armed forces for the sacrifices they make. The discounts range from 5% off Brooklyn Bedding mattresses and all the way up to 44% off GE appliances, with some brands jumping in for specific holidays like the 4th of July or Veteran's Day.
These hidden military deals can be admittedly hard to find and sometimes confusing to navigate, depending on the retailer.
In this comprehensive shopping guide, I've highlighted all the verified military discounts on streaming services, sporting goods, clothing and more, plus helpful tips on how to verify your military ID in order to redeem the savings.

If you are a military spouse, you may need to enter your spouse's information. You may also be required to upload photos of your CAC, a DD-214 or pay stubs.
- Submit your verification request, ID.me will review your information and provide a confirmation. Confirmation can be provided is as little as five minutes.
