Amazon Autos now offers a broader selection of new and used vehicles, thanks to new partnerships with local Hyundai and Hertz dealerships. Where do I pick up my new car when using Amazon Autos?
When it’s time to pick up your new vehicle, you’ll head to a participating local dealership. Choose the pick-up experience that works best for you:
- Standard: During a 75-minute appointment, your dedicated Amazon Advisor will provide a personalized walk-through, guiding you through key features of your vehicle. Then, hit the road with confidence as your Amazon Advisor accompanies you on a complimentary orientation drive. To wrap up, you'll be introduced to the service department, sign final documents, connect to the MyHyundai Bluelink app and drive off in your new car.
- Standard without Orientation Drive: During a 45-minute appointment, you will have all of the features of the Standard Appointment with the exception of an orientation drive.
Is Amazon Autos available everywhere?
Amazon Autos has only initially launched in select U.S. cities and markets, but Amazon has plans for expansion over time. Availability will depend on participating dealerships in your area.
Does Amazon Autos accept trade-ins?
Yes! During checkout for your new car, you'll see an option to add a trade-in. If you choose this, a new window will pop up where you can answer a few quick questions regarding your vehicle and its current condition. Once you've finished the questionnaire, you'll immediately get an estimated value for your trade-in.
This estimated value can then be saved and added to your new car purchase or lease directly in the main checkout window. As soon as you add your trade-in, the checkout pricing will automatically update. This means the total cost, including all taxes and fees, will reflect your trade-in value, making it easy to see your final payment.
How does Amazon Autos pricing work?
On each vehicle's detail page, you'll immediately see the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). You'll also get clear estimates for Cash, Finance and Lease pricing. Once you make a selection and as you move to checkout, you might even discover additional savings or pricing options that apply to you.
Can I negotiate the price?
No, Amazon Autos typically features transparent, upfront pricing set by the dealer, so the price you see is the price you pay, eliminating the need for price negotiation. Amazon Autos' goal is to provide competitive, no-haggle pricing. This means you get a fair deal right from the comfort of your home, without the back-and-forth.
Do I have to be an Amazon Prime member to buy on Amazon Autos?
Amazon Autos is available to all Amazon customers, but some incentives are only available to Amazon Prime members. For example, if you finish checkout and submit your order at Amazon Autos by September 14 and pick up your car by September 17, Amazon is offering a $1,250 gift card incentive to Prime members.
