Signing up for an Amazon Prime membership could cost you less than you expect if you qualify for one of these discounts:
- Amazon Prime for Young Adults (previously Prime for Students): This new membership is focused on perks for young adults between the ages of 18 and 24. Eligible young adults can get a six-month Amazon Prime membership at zero cost and pay a discounted fee of $7.49 per month or $69 annually after that. This is a 50% discount compared to the full price of Amazon Prime.
- Prime Access for government assistance recipients: If you receive SNAP, EBT, Medicaid or other qualifying government aid, you can save with a discounted Prime Access membership.
