Bissell vs. Phueut: 80,000 Amazon shoppers bought one of these steam cleaners last month
One of my favorite Amazon purchases of all-time is my handheld portable steam cleaner. It's a truly wonderful device for deep cleaning, and it's not the only one available—or the only one on sale. Over 80,000 Amazon shoppers have purchased either a Bissell Steam Shot Omnireach handheld steam cleaner or a Phueut handheld steam cleaner in just the last month. Both are on sale now for the last 24 hours of Amazon Prime Day 2025.
You don't even need any fancy cleaning sprays or chemicals; you just add water to your steam cleaner, wait a few minutes for it to heat up and you're ready to eliminate even the most stubborn, stuck-on messes. I have used this to get dried, stuck-on toothpaste off my child's bathroom cabinet, stubborn, greasy food stains off my stovetop and even to blast the rubber mats in my car until they looked shiny and new again (all with different tools of course!).
Both models are discounted during Amazon's Prime Day shopping event, with a similar price point. But, which one deserves a spot in your repertoire of home-cleaning essentials? I break that down below:
Amazon Prime Day 2025 | Bissell vs. Phueut | Which steam cleaner should you buy?
Let me break down the details of each one so you can decide which one deserves your hard-earned dollars.
Bissell Steam Shot OmniReach handheld portable steam cleaner
- Prime Day deal: $39.99 (was $49.99, savings of 20%)
- Temperature: 215°F
- Best used for: Tile, grout, windows, bathrooms, kitchens & fabric
The Bissell Steam Shot OmniReach steam cleaner is a crowd favorite, whether that's because of the brand name or price point, more than 60,000 Amazon shoppers have chosen this model in the last month. Bissell is endorsed by top influencers on #CleanTok, which is what influenced my purchase and it's a viral hit. But, it does only boast a 3.9-star rating among 3,000 reviewers.
Phueut Pressurized Handheld Multi-Surface Natural Steam Cleaner
- Prime Day deal: $42.55 (was $70.99, savings of 40%)
- Temperature: 230°F
- Best used for: Ceramic, marble and sealed hard wood, tile, sinks, stoves, windows, sofa, toys & car
Phueut is not a brand name, yet 20,000 Amazon shoppers still chose this pressurized handheld steam cleaning model over the Bissell in the last month. It also boasts a 4.2 star rating with over 7,500 reviewers. That means despite not having the brand name, more people are talking about how much they love this steam cleaner, with many shoppers complimenting the number of attachments it includes.
Bissell vs. Phueut: Which Prime Day home-cleaning deal wins?
I personally own the Bissell Steam Shot, so my opinion is a bit biased. But, you're getting a household brand that we all know and love, plus it has the lower price point which is a tough deal to beat. However, the Phueut reaches a higher temperature, comes with more accessories and has a higher buyer rating of 4.2 stars to the Bissell's 3.9 stars.
Either way, you're scoring a Prime Day win.
