How to buy 2025 U.S. Open tennis tickets

Three majors down, one to go.

The U.S. Open, the peak of American tennis, begins on Aug. 19, with the men's and women's draws beginning on Sunday, Aug. 24.

After two exciting major finals, one to Carlos Alcaraz and one to Jannik Sinner, will we see the "New 2" matchup for a third major final in Queens?

Which American will capture the heart of the New York crowd this year? Will it be a top seed with previous success like Coco Gauff and Taylor Fritz? Will a crowd favorite like Francis Tiafoe or Jess Pegula make a run?

There's nothing quite like the support of the U.S. Open crowd, so join the frenzy this year, as tickets for the 2025 U.S. Open are now on sale.

Types of U.S. Open tennis tickets

There are four main types of tickets to the U.S. Open.

U.S. Open Day Session

The Day Session ticket gets you access to either Arthur Ashe Stadium or Louis Armstrong Stadium during the day and all the other courts on the grounds, usually beginning at 11 a.m. ET. The Day Sessions on the two stadium courts usually feature top players of the day, so expect to see players like Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek and more.

U.S. Open Evening Session

Similar to the Day Session pass, the Evening Session ticket gets you access to either Arthur Ashe Stadium or Louis Armstrong Stadium for the primetime matchups, usually beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The U.S. Open always saves its best for primetime, so expect lots of the top players in the world including Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic along with many of the top American players like Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Taylor Fritz, Francis Tiafoe, Tommy Paul and more.

Grandstand

During the first week of the tournament, usually the first three rounds, the Grandstand, or third biggest court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, also requires a separate ticket. It won't cost as much as a Day Session or Evening Session ticket to Ashe or Armstrong, but it still features some of the best players in the world, in a more compact atmosphere.

U.S. Open Grounds Admission Pass

The final type of ticket is the Grounds Admission Pass. This ticket grants entry to the complex and allows open seating at all the non stadium courts on the grounds. Early in the tournament you can watch hundreds of players on dozens of courts. However, you cannot enter either of the two main stadium courts, which means you will miss some of the most famous players in the world.
