On Tuesday, the pop icon and Kansas City Chiefs tight end took to Instagram to announce their engagement. The couple posted photos of the proposal surrounded by a giant floral arrangement.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," Swift wrote in the caption on Instagram, along with photos of her giant rock!

Daniela Tarantino, VP of Merchandising of James Allen and Blue Nile, estimates Swift's engagement ring likely costing between $750,000 - $1,000,000. It's set on a yellow gold band and is likely somewhere between 10 - 15 carats.

"Taylor Swift's gorgeous ring is likely a unique cut just for her, but to our eye it looks similar to an elongated modified cushion," Tarantino added.
