While some minor deals and promotions may be available to non-members, the best savings are always reserved for Prime members.

How to save on an Amazon Prime membership?

For new Prime members, you can score a seven-day Amazon Prime membership trial for $1.99. Afterwards, Prime costs just $14.99 per month or $139 per year. But you may qualify for one of these two membership discounts below:

  1. Amazon Prime for Young Adults (previously Prime for Students): This membership is focused on perks for young adults between the ages of 18 and 24.

Prime for Young Adults grants eligible young adults a six-month Amazon Prime membership at zero cost. After the trial period ends, you can continue your membership at a discounted rate of just $7.49 per month or $69 annually. This is a 50% discount compared to the full price of Amazon Prime.
