Team USA's Breezy Johnson just added another ring to the 2026 Winter Olympics: an engagement ring!

After winning her first gold medal in women's Alpine skiing downhill in Cortina on Sunday, her now-fiancé Connor Watkins popped the question shortly after her Super-G race.

According to legendary Paste BN Sports columnist Nancy Armour, Johnson's ring is custom made with a blue sapphire stone set between two curving white gold bands, one of which is filled with white sapphires. Plus, reports say Taylor Swift lyrics were involved in the proposal.

"It felt fitting to kind of combine two of my loves," Johnson said when asked why she wanted to get engaged at the Olympics. "And I don't know, it's a special place at the Olympics. I feel like there's a lot of mystique around it."
