2023 ESPYS: Time, how to watch, awards and which athletes will be in attendance
The grandest night in sports is here, as some of the top athletes from around the world gather in Los Angeles to celebrate and honor the past year in sports at the 2023 ESPY Awards.
This year's ESPYS − abbreviated for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly − mark the 31st year of the award show, and some championship athletes will be in attendance, including those from the NBA champion Denver Nuggets, Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and, of course, Donna Kelce.
In addition to the awards for individuals and teams, the ESPYS will also honor inspiring and courageous athletes with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance and the Pat Tillman Award for Service.

When are the 2023 ESPYS?
The 2023 ESPYS will take place Wednesday, July 12 at 8 p.m. ET at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The ESPYS Red Carpet Show will begin at 4 p.m. ET.
How to watch the 2023 ESPYS
The ESPYS Red Carpet Show will be available to watch on ESPN's Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages, as well as the ESPN app.
The 2023 ESPYS will air on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. ET; the broadcast for the Mountain and Pacific time zones will be tape delayed until 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time, respectively (the Arizona broadcast will also begin at 7 p.m. local). The ESPYS can also be live streamed via ESPN3.
What awards will be given out at the 2023 ESPYS?
There will be 22 awards given out Wednesday night, to both individuals and teams in professional and college sports.

Who will receive special awards at the 2023 ESPYS?
The winners of the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance and the Pat Tillman Award for Service were announced in June. Here's who will be honored with the awards:
- Arthur Ashe Award for Courage: U.S. women's national soccer team
- Jimmy V Award for Perseverance: Liam Hendriks
- Pat Tillman Award for Service: Buffalo Bills training staff
