Penny Hardaway, Scott Hamilton among participants set for Danny Thomas Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament
Memphis basketball coach Penny Hardaway, figure skating icon Scott Hamilton and "TikTok dad" Dustin Hadley are expected to be among the participants in the sixth annual Danny Thomas Celebrity Pro-Am, according to event organizers.
The private event is put on to help support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and coincides with the first round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis. It will be at Spring Creek Ranch in Collierville on Aug. 7.
This year's field (subject to change) is expected to lean into the Memphis athletics theme, as NFL Hall of Famer, Super Bowl champion and former Memphis star Isaac Bruce will once again be on hand. Former Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins and former Tiger Jerome Woods, a first-round NFL Draft pick who prepped at Melrose, are expected to take part.
