Hassan N'Dam-David Lemieux middleweight title bout to be televised on FOX Sports 2
Hassan N'Dam's bout with David Lemieux now has American television coverage.
The IBF middleweight title clash will be shown on FOX Sports 2 and FOX Deportes and emanate from the Bell Centre in Montreal on June 20 (10 p.m. ET), Golden Boy Promotions announced late Wednesday.
"The broadcast on FOX Sports will allow American audiences the chance to see a great fight featuring two of the most exciting stars in boxing," said Oscar De La Hoya. "This match-up will deliver action-packed intensity as both Lemieux and N'Dam are hungry to move their careers forward and claim the title."
The co-feature pits Dierry Jean against Jerry Belmontes in a lightweight bout, and Cuban heavyweight Luis Ortiz will open the card vs. an opponent to be determined.
June 20 is packed with boxing, a rare Saturday with three prominent cards televised live in the U.S. Adrien Broner faces Shawn Porter that night on NBC (8:30 ET) while Andre Ward makes his return vs. Paul Smith on BET (10 p.m. ET).
Lemieux, one of the biggest punchers at 160 pounds, is looking for his first world title. N'Dam held the WBO middleweight title but never made a successful defense.
