Live stream: Floyd Mayweather hosts media workout ahead of bout with Conor McGregor
Five-division world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is hosting a workout Thursday ahead of his Las Vegas showdown with UFC champion Conor McGregor. Watch the workout in the player above.
Mayweather, undefeated in his career, is downplaying the notion that he’ll annihilate McGregor, as Vegas bettors predict, when the two meet in the ring on Aug. 26.
“When you look at myself and Conor McGregor on paper, he’s taller, has a longer reach, he’s a bigger man from top to bottom,” Mayweather told ESPN. “He’s a lot younger, so youth is on his side. And I’ve been off a couple of years. And I’m in my 40s. So, if you look at everything on paper, it leans toward Conor McGregor.”
Mayweather's comments contrast sharply from the fight's press tour, when he said McGregor didn’t stand a chance of marring his 49-0 boxing record.
Paste BN will stream McGregor's workout live on Friday.
