Live stream: Conor McGregor hosts open workout ahead of bout with Floyd Mayweather

UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor will hold an open media workout Friday ahead of his face-off with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The workout is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET.

McGregor and Mayweather will enter the ring Aug. 26 in Las Vegas, in what's expected to be the most lucrative fight in history.

Undefeated Mayweather is coming out of retirement to spar with the UFC star, who has never boxed competitively.

“This matchup is unprecedented. There has been overwhelming demand from fight fans, and it’s great to be able to deliver," Stephen Espinoza, executive VP and general manager of Showtime Sports, said in a statement when the fight was first announced.
