With one more fight scheduled against Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury is already setting his sights on his next opponent and next year.

The reigning WBC heavyweight champion, who defeated Wilder via TKO in February to claim his title, said Wednesday he and Anthony Joshua — the current IBF heavyweight belt holder — will step into the ring together at some point in 2021.

"One problem, I've just got to smash Deontay Wilder's face right in the next fight, and then we'll go into the Joshua fight next year," Fury said in a video he posted on Twitter. "So there we are, the Gypsy King versus AJ is on for next year."

The two Great Britain natives are scheduled for two bouts, Fury said.

Earlier Wednesday, Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn told Sky Sports that the two sides have agreed to a deal in principle and that both fights will take place in 2021.

Wilder and Fury were scheduled for their third fight in July, but the coronavirus pandemic has postponed it.
