Louisiana Tech javelin thrower dies in automobile accident
RUSTON, La. (AP) — A track-and-field athlete and engineering major at Louisiana Tech University has been killed in an automobile accident in Arkansas.
The university in Ruston says Noah Riche (REE-SHAY) was killed in an accident while returning to Ruston from Mount Ida, Arkansas, where he had been working at a Christian children's camp.
Riche, a Madisonville native, was a 22-year-old javelin thrower on the Tech track and field team. Details on the accident were not immediately available.
