It's Penn State's first appearance in the finals since that 2014 win over BYU in Oklahoma City, and it follows an emotional five-set victory over Nebraska that saw Penn State rally back from 2-0. Superstar Jess Mruzik was Penn State's leader in that comeback win with 26 kills, a performance she'll look to imitate against a Louisville team that may be without leader Anna DeBeer.

Penn State coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley, who is battling Stage 2 breast cancer, is looking to be the first woman to lead her team to a women's volleyball national championship. Regardless of whether it's Schumacher-Cawley or Louisville's Dani Busboom Kelly, however, the winner will be enshrined in volleyball history with that honor.
