Conner Weigman injury update: Texas A&M QB listed as questionable for Missouri game
It has been three weeks since we last saw Texas A&M football quarterback Conner Weigman under center.
Weigman suffered an injury to his AC joint during the season-opening loss to Notre Dame and reaggravated it one week later against McNeese State. Since then, it has been a will-he or won't-he situation to see if Weigman will be suited up for the Aggies.
With A&M set to host the undefeated Missouri Tigers in a nationally televised Week 6 SEC showdown, the questions around Weigman's availability still remain.

Texas A&M injury updates
In the SEC availability report released Thursday evening, offensive lineman Ar'maj Reed-Adams was listed as questionable as was Weigman.
Running back Rueben Owens, defensive back Tyreek Chappell, offensive lineman Mark Nabou Jr., and his replacement, TJ Shanahan were all listed as out for Week 6.
Conner Weigman injury update
Not much publicly has changed for Weigman over the last couple of weeks. In the last two outings between Bowling Green and Arkansas, the quarterback was ruled out during pregame and has been on the sideline in street clothes.
Head coach Mike Elko has insisted that Weigman has been a game-time decision over the last three weeks, though the last two weeks he didn't even suit up.

Although he hasn't been ruled out for Saturday's game, with a bye week on the horizon in Week 7, Weigman's situation is worth monitoring to see if his availability will change at all in the coming weeks.
Who is Weigman's backup on Aggies' depth chart?
In Weigman's absence, redshirt freshman Marcel Reed has stepped in. The Aggies have gone 3-0 during that stretch and have beaten the Florida Gators and rival Arkansas Razorbacks in the process, pushing their record to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the SEC.
In four games of action, including three starts, Reed has tallied 585 passing yards and six touchdown passes while adding 230 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Connor Weigman's stats
Weigman has appeared in two games, going 1-1 in those contests. He has tallied 225 passing yards and two touchdowns in the limited action.
He is in his third year with the program but has only appeared in 11 games due to injuries, with his 2023 season ending after five appearances due to a season-ending foot injury.
Coach Elko updates Weigman's injury status
Elko is comfortable leaving the door open for his starting quarterback. Since the injury occurred, Elko has been adamant about Weigman remaining a game-time decision, never ruling him out until the last minute. Such looks to be the case this week as well.
"It's just one of those things with the shoulder. He'll be a game-time decision this week, and we'll see how it goes," Elko said while talking with reporters Monday.
“He is now throwing. We are able to get him out there and function a little bit more, which is good. This will be a game-time decision this week," Elko said.
Weigman is officially listed as "questionable" on the latest student-athlete availability report released by the SEC.
