NCAA baseball bracket 2025: Full regional schedule, matchups, dates for CWS field

With a finalized bracket, the road to Omaha is officially underway — time to play ball.

After winning its fifth SEC tournament on Sunday, Vanderbilt edged out Texas for the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA baseball tournament during Monday's bracket reveal show. The Commodores, who were ranked No. 1 in the RPI rankings, are the top overall seed for the first time in the Tim Corbin era since 2007.

Rounding out the top five national seeds in the 64-team bracket were Texas, Arkansas, Auburn and North Carolina.

The SEC continued its season-long dominance on Monday, as it had 13 of its 16 teams named to the NCAA baseball tournament bracket. Of the 13 SEC teams, eight of them are hosting a regional, which is tied for the most all time by a single conference in a single NCAA Tournament.

Postseason play gets underway on May 30 with regional play, where all games will take place at the sites of the top 16 national seeds.

When does the NCAA baseball tournament start?

The 2025 NCAA baseball tournament will start on May 30 with regional play. The best-of-three super regional series are scheduled to take place between June 6-9 with the eight winners of the super regionals advancing to the College World Series. The College World Series will start four days later on June 13.
