March Madness betting odds: Florida basketball v Maryland in 2025 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16
The top-seeded Florida Gators are set to face the fourth-seeded Maryland Terrapins this coming Thursday in San Francisco for the 2025 NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16. If you are looking for the early betting odds for the upcoming March Madness affair, we have the data you seek right here.
Todd Golden's team made it past the 16th-seeded Norfolk State Spartans in the first round to set up its 77-75 comeback victory over the eighth-seeded UConn Huskies on Sunday. Now riding an eight-game winning streak — including three straight to win the SEC Tournament — the Gators look to continue their run to a national title.
The Terps lost their Big Ten Tournament game to the eventual champions, the Michigan Wolverines, but have victories over the 13th-seeded Grand Canyon State Lopes and 12th-seeded Colorado State Rams, respectively, since.
The two schools have split their four all-time matchups, with Florida winning the first two in 1932 and 2002, and Maryland taking the more recent games in 2003 and 2021.

Florida vs Maryland Sweet 16 prediction, pick:
The Gators have shown their mortality in the first two tournament games, letting their foot off the gas for the final 25 minutes of the first-round game and needing a late rally to prevail in the second round. Will complacency be a problem again on Thursday? Do not count on it.
