The pursuit and mission of chasing a national championship is almost complete in the NCAA women's lacrosse tournament, as the bracket is down to its final four teams.

And it's all chalk, as the top four national seeds in the 29-team bracket have made it to Gillette Stadium and Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The semifinals of the NCAA women's lacrosse tournament get started with top overall seed North Carolina vs. No. 4 seed Florida at 3 p.m. ET. It's the second consecutive trip to the Final Four for the Gators, who defeated No. 15 Duke in the quarterfinals, while it's the Tar Heels' 14th trip, tied for the third most all-time in NCAA history.

Then comes the headliner of the two semifinal matchups: No. 2 Boston College vs. No. 3 Northwestern, a rematch of the last two national championship matchups. After losing Round 1 in 2023, the Eagles defeated the Wildcats 14-13 for their second national title in program history. It's also a head-to-head matchup between the nation's top two scoring leaders in Northwestern's Madison Taylor and Boston College's Rachel Clark, who are averaging 5.25 and 4.90 goals per game this season, respectively.
