NCAA men's lacrosse tournament schedule today: Start times, TV channel for semifinals
For college lacrosse fans, the most anticipated weekend of the season has arrived as the entire sport flocks to the New England area to see who will finish the mission of winning a national championship.
And for the first time in two years, that eventual national champion won't be Notre Dame.
Those playing for the right to advance from Saturday's semifinals to the national title game on Memorial Day will be four of the top six national seeds in the bracket: No. 1 Cornell, No. 2 Maryland, No. 5 Penn State and No. 6 Syracuse.

Action gets underway at high noon Eastern at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts with CJ Kirst, the nation's leading scorer, leading the Big Red onto the field against Matt Traynor and the Nittany Lions. Penn State took the regular-season meeting against Cornell.
Maryland and Syracuse will then clash in what will be a battle between two of lacrosse's most storied programs, as the Orange have the most national titles (10) in NCAA history and the Terrapins have the fourth most (four). To make its second straight trip to the Final Four, Maryland has relied on its defense, which ranks second in the country at allowing 7.81 goals per game. As for the Orange, they won an instant one-goal classic battle with Princeton to return to championship weekend for the first time since 2013.
